It has been a great 1st Term for 9CM and the form have been a pleasure to work with every morning. Highlights for me have been The Children in Need day and our consistent appearance in the top half of the Interhouse League Table, doing Spartans and myself proud. It hasn't been the easiest of first terms and the students have faced a number of challenges but every single one of them has risen to the occasion. Behaviour has been improved, attendance has been improved and participation has been improved, all giving them the best chance of success in the future. Swine Flu hit the form but we all survived and hopefully that will be our dose of illness for the year out of the way.

Looking towards next term; Year 10 options will have to be thought about, strengths and weaknesses targeted, and a whole lot of fun will be had along the way.

Out of school lots of great things have been going on with Jess and Rikki-Lee shooting hoops for the Bobcats, the lads at the heart of their football teams and Megan's modeling to name but a few.

megan is going to london with her mum, she made a bet with her that her mum has to dress in a miniskirt a short top and megan has to wear old granny clothes.

Mr.M has had no injuries this week from rugby and they won 56-3
On other sports news... the bobcats lost their first game against the southend swifts... 92-46 :(

2nd week back

Josh and Jack were pupils of the week - congratulations!!!
Connor's earing came out and it smelled horrible.
Rikki and Jess played for the bobcats and won 3rd game of the season against Hounslow Hawks 79-74.
Martin had his first day off but let it slip that he conned his mum, he had run around the football pitch to make up for it.Shannon is really tired and it's only the end of the 2nd week and Jodie's looking forward to her Birthday on Monday. Next week is Children in Need and the form are doing something a little bit different to raise money for a good cause.

a good game for red lodge this week as they thrashed st ives 5-1 which was good for martin who scored 2 of the 5. tyler went of to wembley were England played belarus and england won 3-0. it waas a good week for reece as he thashed his dad at guitar hero !!!! matt and jack went to martins and played footy all day. There was a great form presence at open evening, helping in the English department. Everyone was very impressed with the attitude and helpfullness. Jodie and Megan decorated Mr Milne's banana too.

A sporting week for 9cm

A happy day for chelsea supporters as they beat liverpool at stamford bridge 2-0.As well as a happy day for Danielle.We also had good runners for the cross country as Danny came 3rd and ricky came 2nd.Megan has also morphed into a cat, and Mildenhall united are 4th in their bottom division of the cambridge colts league and red lodge are 6th in the division above. 

The Fantasticalll Week!!! :D

This week has been a successful one. As Jess and Connor were elected for school council, carrying on with Sarah becoming Pupil Of the week. Towards the Sports side of things, Jess was chosen to play for Ipswich Bobcats basketball team Last wednesday and is very happy about it. Ohhh yeaaa! last weekend Laura, Jess and Rikki, had a great sleepover up until 5 and could not stop laughing for over 3 hrs!! Woooo!  For a good surprise...... K.P came along to the form... we were very excited to see him again.. as the BMS's were very close to him. Welcome to 9CM

9CM arrived with a mixture of eagerness and apprehension. They may not have felt daunted, but they certainly looked it. The group has mixed well with those from different feeder schools and plenty of giggling. They've tackled everything that has been thrown at them with relative enthusiasm and if they keep it up it will be a good year. With three teams entered into the first inter-house event, there are high hopes for success in 9CM.
