It has been a great 1st Term for 9CM and the form have been a pleasure to work with every morning. Highlights for me have been The Children in Need day and our consistent appearance in the top half of the Interhouse League Table, doing Spartans and myself proud. It hasn't been the easiest of first terms and the students have faced a number of challenges but every single one of them has risen to the occasion. Behaviour has been improved, attendance has been improved and participation has been improved, all giving them the best chance of success in the future. Swine Flu hit the form but we all survived and hopefully that will be our dose of illness for the year out of the way.

Looking towards next term; Year 10 options will have to be thought about, strengths and weaknesses targeted, and a whole lot of fun will be had along the way.

Out of school lots of great things have been going on with Jess and Rikki-Lee shooting hoops for the Bobcats, the lads at the heart of their football teams and Megan's modeling to name but a few.

megan is going to london with her mum, she made a bet with her that her mum has to dress in a miniskirt a short top and megan has to wear old granny clothes.

beth went to the london dungeons and had a great time `` i have to go again`` :)

Booth's Bright Buttons

Beth got pupil of the week as did Abbey.
Matt hit Kieran over the head with a badmiton racket.
Megan has a photoshoot on saturday and sunday.
Martin got hit in the face with a dodgeball.
Kieran had to dance in pe.
 Jess and Laura saw a fit boy outside school.

Shannon has joined our class... Meanwhile Sarah, Lucy and Abbie have gotten over their sciveritus otherwise known as Swine Flu!!lol!!!

Matt's been on a coca cola drinking binge and Danielle had a hair cut!!!
Happy Birthday to Danny H!!!!! 14 on monday.
Mr.M has had no injuries this week from rugby and they won 56-3
On other sports news... the bobcats lost their first game against the southend swifts... 92-46 :(

2nd week back

Josh and Jack were pupils of the week - congratulations!!!
Connor's earing came out and it smelled horrible.
Rikki and Jess played for the bobcats and won 3rd game of the season against Hounslow Hawks 79-74.
Martin had his first day off but let it slip that he conned his mum, he had run around the football pitch to make up for it.Shannon is really tired and it's only the end of the 2nd week and Jodie's looking forward to her Birthday on Monday. Next week is Children in Need and the form are doing something a little bit different to raise money for a good cause.
